Manor College’s Criminal Justice degree program provides students with a 21st century, comprehensive training in criminal law, investigation, law enforcement, legal procedures, criminology and evidence.
Why You Should Choose Manor
Manor College prepares its graduates to meet challenges through the comprehensive study of crime and criminal behavior; and includes: the structure, workings and agencies of the criminal justice system and how crime impacts issues on local, state and national levels, is also addressed.
Manor College partnership with Widener University Delaware Law School
Manor College students will be admitted to Delaware Law after completing three years of undergraduate study at Manor College, thanks to a partnership between the two institutions. Requirements for admittance include:
- 75 percent completion of their bachelor degree
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher for every semester at Manor College
- Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of Delaware Law’s most recent entering class
- Satisfied Delaware Law’s admissions requirements for character and fitness
- Complete an application by April 1 of the calendar year for intended enrollment.
Career Opportunities
Upon completion of an Associate in Criminal Justics, graduates will be prepared for entry-level positions. Examples of some careers that you can pursue include:
- Entry-level corrections system positions
- Insurance investigator
- Safety officer
- Security patrol officers
- Law Enforcement
Graduates who earn an Associate’s Degree in the Criminal Justice program can:
Work in a variety of entry-level positions. The program also offers the academic preparation students may need to enter into law enforcement training. Stay at Manor to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or Public Policy.

Anthony Caristo ‘23
Anthony Caristo ‘23 became interested in a criminal justice career because of his father – a former police officer and current Public Safety Manager at Manor College. After he met Professor Mary Sims, he became inspired to become a lawyer. Currently, he attends Bryn Athen College to pursue a degree in Pre-Law.
“With Professor Sims, I know I can email or text her for guidance whenever because she’s available to help make us better. After I talked to her, I realized I could bring about better change through law, so I knew I wanted to pursue a career as a lawyer.”
