The Ukrainian Nest (Українське гніздо) is an interactive, hands-on activity based learning program for children between the ages of 5 and 12.  It is conducted implementing differentiated instruction methods with small group instruction and individualized learning goals.  Above all it is conceived as a stress free, fun and friendly pedagogic experience that will familiarize the participants with Ukrainian language, traditions, history and culture in a relaxed and easy going fashion.

This program is designed to help second or more generation Ukrainians who wish to have their children or grandchildren learn about their heritage in a relaxed, nurturing and positive environment.

Introduction to Ukrainian culture, history and language through stories, activities and conversation. Stress free instruction promoting conversation in the Ukrainian language. These classes are aimed at children 5 to 9 years old but older children are welcome. Cost $100.00 per family.

The School Mistress is Chrystyna Prokopovych and the faculty will be led by Irena Gramiak.
