Public Safety

The Department of Public Safety’s mission is to provide a safe educational and work environment for all students, faculty, staff and visitors. We embrace a community-oriented approach and utilize communication, education, cooperation and proactive practices to ensure the safety of all.

The Department of Public Safety employs a full staff of public safety officers who serve our community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year while maintaining a close relationship with the Abington Township Police Department and other local officials. We strive to achieve our goals through campus patrols, investigation of incidents, victim assistance and educational programs. Other protective measures include information sharing through emails, our web page and the utilization of our campus-wide notification and communication system.
