Career Opportunities

Health Services encompasses a large number of service-related fields including health services administration, health and medical administrative services, health information and medical records administration, health unit managers, healthcare administration, healthcare facilities management, long term care administration and management and public health.

The Bureau of Labor and Industry projects that employment of Medical and Health Service Managers is projected to grow 20 percent from 2016 to 2026, much faster than the average for all occupations. As the large baby-boom population ages and people remain active later in life, there should be increased demand for healthcare services.
