“I heard about the Career Center from my Advisor. I originally went to the Career Center for help with transferring and to build my resume. The Career Center helped me tailor my resume during my job search and helped me articulate my experiences in interviews. It prepared me for achieving my internship by offering me personalized career counseling. In the Summer of 2024, I interned at Germantown Friends School, a Pre-K to 12 school in Philadelphia. After college, I’d like to work in Human Resources, and my internship helped me learn those skills. I filed paperwork and worked with employee onboarding, including creating employee badges and organizing onboarding documents. “

“I first went to the Career Center to learn more about my major. I was going to finish my prerequisites for becoming a registered nurse, but I switched over to the Practical Nursing program and Mr. (Michael) Clark guided me through making the right decision in my career path. The Center helped me feel more confident, positive and focused on the decision. It also helped me earn an internship in companion care with Senior Helpers. I’ll be helping seniors do simple tasks around their home. The Career Center is perfect if you are having trouble finding your major or finding the right career path. Mr. Clark gives good advice and always is there to help students.”
