The Learning Center is located on the main floor of the Learning Commons of the Basileiad Library Building.
The Learning Center is open to all Manor students and follows the Library’s hours except by appointment. It is a welcoming location to complete course work using the Center’s resources or to receive learning support from professional and peer tutors at no cost.
Tutoring must be requested through the Tutoring Request Form; tutors are not available for walk-in appointments. Tutoring is available face-to-face and online during the day, evenings and weekends.
Services and Resources:
- Professional or peer tutoring in basic academic skills and for most courses offered at Manor College.
- Students may work with a tutor for up to 2 hours, per course, per week for a 4 credit course, and up to 1.5 hours, per course, per week for a 3 credit course.
- Assistance in developing study, time-management, and general academic skills
- 9 desktop computers and 1 printer
