Placement Test
As part of the admission process, you must take the English Composition and Mathematics placement assessments before you can register for classes. The purpose of the placement test is to correctly place you into the proper math and english courses. This information will be used in advising you on course selection for the upcoming semester.
Some students may be exempt from certain one or all sections of the placement assessment. You can view the exemption policies in the link below. Your Admissions Counselor will notify you if you qualify for exemption from a section.

Students can access official Accuplacer practice tests by creating an account, which takes approximately one minute. We recommend focusing on the Arithmetic and Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics.
