Interfaith Prayer and Meditation Room
The Interfaith Prayer and Meditation Room is a space dedicated for prayer, reflection, meditation or simply quiet contemplation for students, staff and faculty of various religious and spiritual beliefs.
The space has been intentionally designed with simple furnishings. Inside the room, there is a shoe rack for to store shoes and other private belongings; a shelf to hold mats and other materials; chairs for resting; several mats for individual use, a dimmable lamp to adjust lighting; and cleaning/sanitizing supplies to wipe down mats/chairs before and after usage. Individuals can bring their own items into the space for personal use, but items must be removed once the visit is complete.
The space will be open during normal business hours of the Basileiad Manor Library for faculty, staff, and student enjoyment.
