Manor College Provides Christmas Cheer for 28 Children
On Giving Tuesday 2022, Manor College asked the community to fulfill a wishlist for the families.
On December 12, Manor College donated, wrapped and delivered dozens of gifts for 28 children of students’ families.
“We know many of our students have small children,” said Allison Mootz, Dean of Student Affairs at Manor, “and despite nearly all of them working at least one job, they still find it hard to make ends meet. We thought this could help.”
The four-year institution sought out students who needed a little help giving gifts this year. Then, utilizing Giving Tuesday in November, asked the Manor College community to help fulfill the wishlist. They responded by completing the drive for the children.
WSFS Bank joined in on the Christmas Spirit. In addition to the gift they asked for, each child received a blanket, hat, gloves, books and a board game thanks to WSFS.
Staffers and students at the college held a gift-wrapping party on December 12. The families receiving gifts picked up the items this week.
Thank you to the Manor College community who so graciously donated and helped make the holidays brighter for our students and their families this holiday season.
