Manor College was named the #3 safest colleges in the United States by StateUniversity.com.
Manor College’s Public Safety Department is encouraging students to download a new safety app that allows the community to connect directly with public safety.
Using the app, employees and students can easily submit safety and security information, upload relevant photos or videos and provide additional details through a two-way chat with security. Users can control their privacy and submit this information anonymously, if preferred.
Additionally, the application allows users to receive emergency notifications and safety communications across their preferred channel.
“I think like people feel relatively safe to begin with, but this adds an added layer of protection for our students and employees,” David Caristo, Manor College Public Safety Manager said.
Working with the LiveSafe App helps continue the Department of Public Safety’s mission to provide a safe educational and work environment for all students, faculty, staff and visitors.
