Baiadas Named Manor College 2026 Commencement Speakers
Mark and Ann Baiada will speak during Manor College’s Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, May 14.

Mark and Ann Baiada have been named Manor College’s 2026 Commencement Speakers.
“I’ve had the blessing of knowing Ann and Mark for close to 20 years,” said Dr. Jonathan Peri, President of Manor College. “Their impact on Catholic education remains profound. In a time when our country is feeling the stress of greater workforce needs across healthcare industries, they see the wisdom of investing in the future.”
Mark Baiada founded BAYADA Home Health Care in 1975 with the mission to help people have a safe home life with comfort, independence and dignity. Fifty years later, the nonprofit organization has grown into a global leader, serving 40,000 clients weekly across more than 380 offices in 20 U.S. states and international locations in India, Ireland, New Zealand, and South Korea.
Ann Claffey Baiada, RN, CRRN is a retired nurse and a champion of the nursing profession. As a certified rehabilitation registered nurse, she founded BAYADAbility Rehab Solutions, the first and only home health care rehabilitation nursing program in 1998.
“We have supported the college for many years, and we are pleased to see their nursing program flourish since it began a few years ago,” the Baiadas said. “It is truly encouraging to see all of the students’ good work and accomplishments.”
Both Mark and Ann have left a legacy of bettering the community around them. They’ve been recognized with numerous honors, both individually and as a couple. These include the Lawrence S. Smith Distinguished Service award from the YMCA of Greater Philadelphia in 2022 and the Lillian D. Wald Award from the VNS Health of New York City in 2024.
At Manor College, the Baiada’s have been an integral part of the founding of the Practical Nursing Program, having donated state-of-the-art patient simulator mannequins for optimal skills training. The institution graduates its first cohort of Practical Nursing students at the 2026 Commencement. They have also contributed to Manor’s Student Aid and Food Emergency (SAFE) Fund that provides groceries and other support to students so they can persist in their studies here.
“The word commencement is a hopeful one and speaks of new beginnings,” the Baiada’s said. “We hope that the new graduates happily find their places in the world and make this world a better place.”
Manor College’s 2026 Commencement takes place on Thursday, May 14 on Manor College’s campus. The event will be live streamed on Manor College’s YouTube page.
