Two Manor Students Named Finalists for Prestigious Scholarship

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation has announced that two Manor College students, Vera Lewis and Lineth Ceciliano, are semi-finalists for the organization’s prestigious Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship. This scholarship, available to students working toward two-year degrees, supports high-achieving students as they transfer to four-year schools.

The semifinalists were selected from a pool of nearly 1,500 students across the country. Lewis and Ceciliano, who both study pre-nursing at Manor, represent two out of eight finalists chosen from the state of Pennsylvania. Scholarship winners are selected based on achievement, academic prowess, financial need, service, and demonstrated leadership.

Students who win the scholarship will receive financial support for their studies and textbooks, as well as academic advising, college planning services, and more. Four Manor College students have previously won this distinguished scholarship.
