SEPCHE schools provide the largest share of teachers statewide and a significant portion of nurses, business, human services and allied health professionals.

Members now include: Arcadia University, Cabrini University, Chestnut Hill College, Holy Family University, Manor College, Neumann University, Rosemont College and Salus University.
The consortium represents over 20,000 students in small colleges located across all five counties of metropolitan Philadelphia. SEPCHE schools provide the largest share of teachers statewide and a significant portion of nurses, business, human services and allied health professionals.
SEPCHE’s mission is to improve the quality and efficiency of academic programming, student access, faculty development, institutional operations and community outreach, through a range of shared activities, services, technology and information.
SEPCHE Board Chair and Salus University President Michael H. Mittelman said, “We are thrilled to welcome President Jon Peri and our Manor College colleagues to our SEPCHE consortium. On a personal note, I have had the pleasure of knowing Jon for many years and know that he will bring a high degree of knowledge, energy and passion to the consortium.”
Manor College has a unique position in the area’s higher ed ecosystem, having a large number of first-time college students from extremely diverse backgrounds.
“This strengthens our geographic and student diversity as well as the range of academic offerings available to our students,” Dr. Mittelman said. “We are honored to have Manor join our community of institutions collaboratively focused on access, excellence in teaching, liberal arts and lifelong learning in service to the broader society.”
Dr. Jonathan Peri, President of Manor College, is as equally honored to become the newest member.
“We’re honored to be the newest member of SEPCHE, and I’m especially looking forward to working with such an esteemed group of community leaders,” said Dr. Peri. “In this new global landscape, our consortium strengthens our students.”
