Manor College Celebrates Student Affairs Awards Banquet

The night began with a keynote speech from former pro boxer Dave Tiberi.

Manor College held its annual Student Affairs Awards banquet on Thursday, April 25.

The night is a chance for students to be recognized for their efforts on the court, in the classroom and in the community.

The night began with a keynote speech from Dave Tiberi, a former boxer best known for challenging James “Lights Out” Toney for the world middleweight championship. The fight, which ended in a controversial split decision, resulted in legislation that created stronger health and safety rules for fighters across the nation.

In total, more than three dozen students received awards for their achievements. Here’s a full list of the students and organizations who were honored.
