Good Evening Students,

On behalf of President Peri and myself, I wanted to send an update on Manor’s response to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We continue to monitor the developing dynamics associated with this virus and its potential impact on operations at the College. While there have been no confirmed COVID-19 cases with a connection to Manor, we are taking the precautionary following steps across campus to assist in keeping members of our Manor community healthy:

  • Campus will be closed and classes are cancelled to students for Thursday, March 12 and Friday, March 13 with the exception of clinics for Dental Hygiene, EFDA and Veterinary Technology. Students that are currently in clinics will receive further instructions from their instructors.

  • Beginning Monday, March 16, 2020, ALL face-to-face classes meeting on campus will ONLY be available online through Canvas with the exception of clinics for Dental Hygiene, EFDA and Veterinary Technology.

  • Students who do not have reliable access to the internet at home, must contact their instructors directly and immediately to find alternate opportunities for learning and to complete assignments.

  • All students who currently live in St. Josaphat Residence Hall have until Sunday, March 15 to vacate and return to their homes. Students will receive further instructions about this process from Assistant Director of Residence Life, Shamika Ford.

  • This COVID-19 action plan will be in effect until March 30, 2020. We will update you with any other news as needed. It is important that you check your Manor email and if you haven’t done so already, sign up for Manor’s Emergency Alert System by texting the word “Manor” to 79516.

  • Pending further analysis of the situation, face-to-face classes will resume on Monday, March 30, 2020.
