Presidential Ambassadors Annual Coat Drive Collects Items for St. James Church
More than 50 items were donated to the homeless in the Kensington area.

Students at Manor College collected over 50 items of winter clothing to donate to those in need in Philadelphia.
The Presidential Ambassadors’ Coat Drive took place from Thanksgiving through campus. In total, the group received 55 items that will be donated to the St. James Church in Elkins Park and distributed to the homeless in the Kensington area.
“I enjoy the coat drive every year because I believe community outreach is essential to supporting and uplifting others all year, not just during the holiday season,” said Natasha Moore, a Presidential Ambassador and senior Business major at Manor College.
The Presidential Ambassadors are a select group of students who represent the college in the community and serve as “Go-To” figures. They embody the Basilian spirit, connecting with other students, families and alumni while gaining leadership training, networking and professional development.
This is the third year the Presidential Ambassadors have organized the winter clothing drive. In total, the group has collected more than 200 winter items for the St. James Church.
