Since we as a Manor College community are unable to celebrate the holiday season together in our typical fashion, we have decided that a Week of Cheer is the perfect way to celebrate all the wonder and blessings that the holiday season brings. Monday, December 14 – Cookie Recipe Exchange

Tuesday, December 15 – Gingerbread House Making Contest – 7pm LIVE on Zoom

Join Dean Allison Mootz and her husband, Jesse, on a live Zoom meeting at 7pm to build a Gingerbread House together! Enjoy a time of fellowship, holiday cheer, trivia and more with your fellow Blue Jay colleagues. This is the perfect activity to include your children and families too – the more the merrier. Prizes will be awarded to Gingerbread house making masters!

Participants are expected to provide their own gingerbread house making kits.

Join a very merry dynamic duo of Tarra Raspanti and Tom Sims as they host a competitive game of Holly Jolly Trivia! Thursday, December 17 – Christmas Stories with Santa Claus & the Ukrainian Spider – 7pm streamed on Facebook

Bring the whole family and gather ‘round to see Santa Claus and one of his Manor College elves read two family-friendly Christmas stories-The Night Before Christmas and The Spider and the Christmas Tree. We all have that special piece of holiday decor that means a lot to us. Whether it’s a big display of lights in your neighborhood that you just love putting together or a simple nativity set that was inherited to you from a loved one, we want to see your most meaningful holiday decor.
