Presidential Career Council
Industry Leaders Advising on Emerging Trends in Career Advancement and Job Readiness
The Manor College Presidential Career Council advises the college on career preparedness benchmarks, emerging fields of employment, and best practices to encourage employers to engage students.
PCC Advisors:
-
Engage with faculty, staff, and students on areas of career preparedness benchmarks for institutions of learning to better prepare our faculty and staff to assist students in their job-seeking skills, job searches, and other career readiness.
-
Counsel faculty and staff on emerging trends in fields related to the college areas of study. This includes helping to identify new, non-traditional areas where students can find work.
-
Facilitate interaction with employers to build our network of potential organizations where students can intern, shadow, and apply for work.
We express our deep gratitude to General Wesley Clark, US Army, Ret., for his assistance in helping us develop this Council.
