Manor College Names Mark and Ann Baiada 2026 Evening with Manor Gala Honorees
The couple will be honored on Thursday, November 12.

Manor College will honor Mark and Ann Baiada as its 2026 Evening with Manor Gala honorees, the institution announced.
Mark Baiada founded BAYADA Home Health Care in 1975 with the mission to help people have a safe home life with comfort, independence and dignity. The nonprofit organization currently serves 40,000 clients weekly across more than 380 offices in 22 U.S. states and international locations.
Ann Claffey Baiada, RN, CRRN, founded in 1998 BAYADAbility Rehab Solutions, the first and only home health care rehabilitation nursing program. She is a retired nurse and a champion of the nursing profession.
“Ann and I are deeply honored to be recognized by Manor College,” said Mark Baiada. “We believe in the power of education to change lives, and we are especially grateful to support a program that is preparing nurses to care for people with skill, compassion, and love. When we visited the skills lab and met the students, we could see their determination and their potential. The world needs good nurses, and these students are answering that call. We look forward to seeing the difference they will make in the lives of their patients, families, and communities.”
In the last few years, the Baiadas have been a steady presence at Manor College. The couple have been an integral part of Manor’s Practical Nursing program, which is currently in its second year. In addition to their vast knowledge and expertise in the field, the couple donated a pair of state-of-the-art patient simulator mannequins for the institution’s skills lab.
The pair served as Commencement Orators at Manor College’s graduation in May.
“Try to remember the power within you, that the goodness and kindness that you show others can make such a difference in your daily life,” Ann Baiada told the crowd. “Be friendly, support others, believe in yourself and others, and show love and you’ll be happier for it.”
They have also contributed to Manor’s Student Aid and Food Emergency (SAFE) Fund that provides groceries and other support to students so they can persist in their studies.
“Mark and Ann have been friends for some twenty or so years. In that time I’ve seen their deep commitment to our community and region.” said Dr. Jonathan Peri, Manor College President. “In particular, they are not distant donors. They are engaged in ways that create meaningfulness and strengthen outcomes. For example, their involvement with our Practical Nursing Program literally helped us to launch it. It is now our second most applied-for program at Manor College, and it’s only been a little over a year. They are embodying compassionate responsibility and service every day.”
Manor College’s Evening with Manor Gala takes place on Thursday, November 12 in Manor College’s library. For more information on the Evening with Manor Gala, including how to purchase tickets, click here.
