Evening With Manor Raises Almost $30,000 for Student Scholarship
On April 11, 2019, Manor College’s Evening With Manor gala raised almost $30,000 for student scholarship from ticket sales, sponsorships, a silent auction, raffle tickets and other contributions. Honoring the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board, this event took place at the Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center in Jenkintown.
Guests were treated to a catered dinner and the event was emceed by Zachary Metz, AS ’18, BBA ’20, while blessings were given by Reverend John Ciupita.
Michelle Lundi AS ’19 spoke to the group about the profound impact that Manor’s supportive campus community has had on her life, while President Jonathan Peri PhD, JD discussed the positive changes Manor College has been making, and the many changes future students, alumni, staff and faculty can look forward to. The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board was honored with the Manor College Community Service Leadership Award.
Numerous gift baskets were raffled off thanks to generous donations from community members, allowing guests to win everything from Cirque du Soleil tickets to a backyard camping pit.
