It’s On Us PA Funding Strengthens Prevention Efforts at Manor
Manor College will receive $40,000 from the campaign from June 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.

Manor College has been named among more than two dozen institutions across Pennsylvania that received a grant through the It’s On Us PA program.
It’s On Us PA is a statewide campaign focused on preventing sexual assault. It’s On Us PA brings together college and university presidents, administrators and more to reframe the conversation around sexual violence and pledge to be part of the solution. “The Shapiro Administration today invested more than $1.7 million in 43 Pennsylvania colleges and universities to help combat sexual assault through education and awareness, and empower survivors through the third round of It’s On Us PA funding.”
“Over the past seven years that we have been granted funding from It’s On Us, we have made significant impacts on student education in the areas of consent and sexual assault prevention,” Allison Mootz, Vice President and Dean of Student Affairs at Manor College, said.
Manor College has received a grant from It’s On Us for the past seven years. Mootz highlighted several tangible impacts of the program, including the increasing of Manor College’s Title IX team from one to ten members.
“Students feel more comfortable reaching out for support or to report as they know the process will be handled confidentially, professionally and with great care,” Mootz said. “The grant also gives us the ability to train staff and students year over year on Sexual Assault Prevention, leading to more overall campus support for students from staff and peers.”
Manor College will receive a $40,000 grant from the campaign from June 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. The highlights of the grant include:
- Bystander Intervention Presentations and Sexual Assault Education with Victim Services of Montgomery County
- Consent Education Programing
- Self-Defense Classes
- Hosting Points for Prevention, an event aimed to raise awareness of sexual assault prevention through athletics.
- Upgraded campus security cameras
Since 2016, 344 It’s On Us PA grants have been distributed across Pennsylvania totaling nearly $10.4 million to more than 100 post-secondary institutions.
