Founders Day celebrates the founding and sponsorship of Manor College by the Sisters of Saint Basil the Great and honors the Basilian traditions of recognizing the dignity of the human person created in God’s image, building the human community, and providing service to the world.

Students nominated for the Mother Josaphat Medal should exhibit a responsible lifestyle, evidenced through reverence, respect, and service to the community, at Manor College and beyond.

Students nominated must have 30 or more completed credits at Manor College, be in academic and behavioral good standing, and be enrolled at the college for the fall 2020 and spring 2021 semesters.

Students who have been previously nominated are still eligible for nomination, but Medal awardees are not eligible to win again.
