Certified Veterinary Technicians
We’re looking for 2 full-time Certified Veterinary Technicians to work in our surgical/dental area and outpatient department. Hours are predominantly evening shifts with some day shifts, as well as every other weekend.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience working in a clinical setting
  • Ability to provide exam and surgery support
  • Excellent knowledge of drugs and their uses, as well as dosages
  • Keen interest in patient care, wellness, anesthesia and client education
  • Ability to work in a team-centered environment

Office Manager 

Southampton Veterinary Hospital is seeking a veterinary assistant/ technician. Candidate should be eager to learn, hardworking, responsible, and able to handle constructive criticism. While it would be preferred to have some experience as a technician/ assistant or animal handling skills, we are willing to train for the position. Candidate must also be able to perform the following:

  • Restraining/ holding animals for the doctor up to 100 lbs
  • Greeting clients and discussing medical treatments including vaccinations, testing procedures, etc.
  • Pulling up vaccinations and other medications
  • Running fecal analysis
  • Cleaning and maintenance of hospital
  • Positioning for radiographs
  • Monitoring Anesthesia
  • Other duties as needed
