Founders’ Day is an annual tradition where we as a campus community gather together (this year virtually) to celebrate our founders, the Sisters of Saint Basil the Great. This year despite not being able to physically gather, we will be celebrating our founders and our 18th year anniversary of Founders’ Day. We sincerely hope you plan on joining us and participating in our service opportunities and community events listed below. 


Tea with the Sisters January 28, 2021 at 3 p.m.
Enjoy a cup of tea and engage in a virtual conversation with the Sisters of Saint Basil the Great!

Please use the sign-up sheet to receive a tea kit. Tea kits are on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Kits will include a mug, assorted tea bags, sugar/sugar substitutes, honey, & shortbread cookies. Tea kits will be available for pick up at Manor College beginning on Monday, January 25th.

Founders’ Day Celebration Live Stream – January 29, 2021 at 12pm

During our celebration live stream we will:

– Honor students who were nominated for the Mother Josaphat Award and announce the medal recipient
– Announce the Educator of the Year award recipient
– Hear inspiring words from a touching keynote speaker
– Watch a memorial tribute from our community dedicated to President Emerita, Sister Mary Cecilia Jurasinksi


Founders’ Day Charity Drive – Support the Manor College SAFE Fund
Support the Manor College SAFE Fund by:

1.) Purchase an item from our Bonfire sale by visiting bonfire.com/manorstrong2021. The store will be open through January 31.

2.) Help us clear the Bird Feed’s Amazon Wishlist! You can purchase these items and have them directly shipped to Manor College. They will be used to help members of the community who are in need.
