Part-Time Communications Position 

The Department of Liberal Arts at Manor College is seeking a qualified candidate for a part-time faculty position in Communications beginning in the Fall 2018 semester. Responsibilities will include teaching four undergraduate courses (12 credits) each semester, using traditional face-to-face, hybrid and online delivery methods. Candidates should have the ability and willingness to teach introductory and higher level courses in communications, public speaking, and composition. Teaching assignments will require teaching day, evening, and online classes as needed.

This position reports directly to the Division Chair of Liberal Arts.

Qualifications Required:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Communications from an accredited institution
  • Demonstrated ability to teach at the college level
  • Experience teaching in an online format
  • Experience with instructional technology and learning management systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively and collegially with others
  • Promote and uphold the college’s Catholic Basilian Mission
