Manor College has an opening for a part-time Admissions Office Internship.

Position Summary

The Admissions Office Intern is responsible for supporting the Admissions staff in day to day operations, data entry, filing, and event support as required by the demands of the office. 

Specific Responsibilities & Essential Functions

As a member of the Admissions team, he/she will participate in the general admissions activities that include:

-Assisting the Admissions staff during events with duties as needed, including check-in, set up, data entry, and clean up

-Answering phones and directing inquires to appropriate parties on campus

-Data entry. Must be comfortable working in various computer systems.

-Electronic and paper filing. Must be able to abide by FERPA regulations and maintain data confidentiality.

-Must be punctual and dependable and able to take direction.

-Able to work independently on occasion, as the job demands. 

Line of Reports

The Admissions Office Inter reports directly to the Assistant Director of Admissions.  
Criteria & Qualifications

Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed for event coverage
Proficient in the usage of computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite)

Technical Skills Required:

Keen knowledge of MS Office products, specifically Excel and Word. Ability to learn new systems is a must.
