Early Childhood Education spans pre-kindergarten through fourth grade, and it’s a field currently experiencing rapid change and growth in job opportunities. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of kindergarten and elementary school teachers is expected to grow by 17% from 2010 to 2020.
An Early Childhood Education degree will help you develop the necessary skills in observing and assessing young children and in planning developmentally appropriate curriculum in all subject areas. Courses are aligned with standards from the National Association for the Education of Young Children and The Pennsylvania Department Of Education.
