A Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from Manor College provides aspiring educators and current educators with a solid background in Early Childhood Development. Students in the program have an opportunity to delve into contemporary issues that affect child development including nutrition and health, children with special needs, and culturally diverse children and families. They also have the opportunity to look at the overall growth and issues related to infants and toddlers. Students will develop a deep understanding of of policies, ethics and advocacy work involved in supporting the overall development of children.
