Within the Allied Health, Science & Mathematics Division, we offer 4 programs of study, including our highly regarded Dental Hygiene, Veterinary Technology, Expanded Function Dental Assisting (EFDA) professional programs and the Allied Health Transfer (AHT) Program which includes 12 concentrations.
In several areas – Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Dental Hygiene, and EFDA – students learn in newly renovated, state-of-the-art science laboratories and clinics. In all lecture and laboratory classes, students benefit from a low student-teacher ratio. We also offer personalized advising to each student.
Our students are highly successful in transferring to four-year institutions after graduation. In 2012, 93 percent of Allied Health Transfer graduates transferred to professional or scholastic programs to continue their academic studies.
