Types of Students
Part-Time Student- A student who is enrolled for fewer than 12 credits hours per semester. The student is able to take day or evening classes. Part-Time students can either be Non-Degree or Matriculated.
Matriculated Student - A student who applies and is accepted into a program of study. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.
Non-Degree Student. – A student who is not matriculated in one of Manor’s majors, meets course prerequisites and enrolls in a credit course for personal enrichment, professional development or and for gaining prerequisite coursework for continuing their education at Manor or another institution of higher learning. Non-degree students may take up to 15 credits hours of study at Manor College before being asked to apply to a specific program of study. Financial Aid is only available if you become a matriculated student.
Transfer Student – A student with previous college credits who wishes to become a matriculated student at Manor College. All students must complete the admissions process and submit official transcripts of high school and college coursework. The college transcript is evaluated for the possible transfer of credits toward the degree of choice. The lowest transfer credit grade accepted is a “C” depending on the program. There is a maximum of 30 possible transfer of credits toward any of Manor’s Associate Degree programs. Transfer students are also eligible to receive financial aid provided they meet eligibility requirements.
