Dental Hygiene Local Anesthesia Course Approved for New Jersey Licensure
The Dental Hygiene Program is proud
to announce that both the current
Dental Hygiene Program local anesthesia
course and the community local
anesthesia course planned for the coming spring have been approved for NJ
licensure. Manor College is the only
dental hygiene program in the area with
both courses approved by PA and NJ.
Also, the program was able to purchase
the following items with the proceeds
from the 2010-2011 community
courses: two curing lights, two Cavitron
units, two adult and one child size nonlead
protective aprons to replace the
current lead aprons, automatic blood
pressure cuffs for adult, pedo, and large
adult patients, as well as an automatic wrist blood pressure kit. The dental
hygiene clinic did not have a child size
protective apron so this is a nicer, lightweight
apron for the younger patients.
The Dental Hygiene Program wishes to thank Professor Eastabrooks, Dr. Scorpio and Puleo for their time and effort in making the local anesthesia courses successful with 100% pass rate and to Professor Eastabrooks for securing NJ approval for the courses.
