Hello everyone. My name is Greg Gardner. I would like to thank each and every one of you for coming out tonight for this special event. It is truly an honor to be here. I graduated from Manor in the spring of 2009 in the top 5 of my class with a degree in Business Management. My years at Manor were two of the best of my life. While being a blue jay, I played basketball for two years. I was president of the Alpha Beta Gamma, a resident assistant and a member of Phi Theta Kappa. The lessons I learned from the amazing professors at Manor and friends I made there will last forever. Manor made it possible for me to complete my bachelor’s degree at Rosemont College through their mutual dual enrollment agreement.

I am currently employed with TD Bank and am an assistant basketball coach of the team that I played for at Rosemont. I graduated from Rosemont in May of 2011. I have the distinction to be the second man to graduate undergrad at Rosemont with a bachelor’s in Business. The success and experiences of the last few years of my life would not have been possible without you, the sponsors of the Gala and the supporters of Manor’s scholarship programs.

After graduating from Monsignor Bonner high school, I really didn't know what I wanted to do. I applied to a couple local schools and received some scholarship offers. I chose Manor because I liked the place and I felt that Manor would provide the best opportunity for me. Because of the scholarships I received, college was more affordable. I am convinced that without that help, College would have been much more difficult. I would have had to split my time between school and work. College wouldn't have had such an enjoyable experience.

Manor College allowed me to grow, play basketball, meet new friends, and follow a career path that included getting my bachelor’s, finding a good job and become the man I am today.

I thank you for all the support that you show to Manor College and making higher education attainable and enjoyable.
